InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) marked its first anniversary as a state-owned enterprise (SOE) entrusted with strategic mandates in plantations, food security, and national energy development. The company’s first anniversary celebration was held on Friday (23/1/2026) at the 6th Floor of Menara Palma, Jakarta.
Carrying the theme, “On Our 1st Anniversary, Agrinas Palma Commits to Achieving Energy Self-Sufficiency,” the occasion served as a moment of reflection on the company’s transformation, while reaffirming its mission to carry out the President’s mandate to strengthen people-based food and energy sovereignty.
President Director Retired TNI General Agus Sutomo said the first year was a crucial phase in building a company foundation that is professional, integrity-driven, and aligned with public interests.
“One year ago, Agrinas Palma Nusantara was born from the major mandate of President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita. Since 16 January 2025, we have continued to move forward in dedication to the people, the nation, and the state,” Agus said in a statement received by InfoSAWIT on Friday (23/1/2026).
He added the company has prioritized strengthening corporate governance, building trust, and delivering tangible benefits for the country.
“Over the past year, we built a strong foundation through human resources strengthening, refining operational standards, and consistently implementing Good Corporate Governance in a sustainable way,” he said.
Managing 1.7 Million Hectares of Oil Palm Estates
As part of its contribution to national energy resilience and independence, Agus revealed that Agrinas Palma Nusantara is currently managing 1.7 million hectares of oil palm plantations as a strategic national asset.
“This land management is part of a national mandate that we carry out with full integrity, to safeguard the honor and dignity of the nation, while supporting the realization of national energy self-sufficiency,” he stressed.
Celebration Activities in Jakarta and Across Regions
The anniversary celebration at the head office included a thanksgiving gathering, charity for orphans, and networking with employees and stakeholders. The program also featured religious reflections as a form of gratitude for the company’s journey and achievements.
In addition to Jakarta, the celebration was held simultaneously across operational areas such as Riau, West Kalimantan, and Padang Lawas. Activities included mass circumcisions, free medical services, community markets and affordable basic food distribution, tree planting, clean water provision, and support for social and educational facilities.
Closing his remarks, Agus expressed appreciation to all Agrinas employees and stakeholders who have supported the company’s first-year journey.
“One year carrying this mandate, we remain committed to continuing to bring prosperity to the nation and the state. Thank you to all employees and parties who have wholeheartedly supported Agrinas Palma Nusantara,” he said.
Going forward, Agrinas Palma Nusantara aims to strengthen its role as a professional, sustainable, and people-oriented plantation SOE, and become a key contributor to national food and energy security. (T1)
