InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,555/kg on Tuesday (January 13, 2026), marking an increase of Rp154/kg, or around 1.07%, compared with Rp14,401/kg recorded on Monday (January 12, 2026).
Based on information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai CPO price was determined at Rp14,555/kg. Meanwhile, the FOB Teluk Bayur tender opened at Rp14,425/kg, but ended in a withdraw (WD), with the highest offer recorded at Rp14,220/kg.
In the international market, palm oil prices in Malaysia continued to rise for a second consecutive session on Tuesday, supported by firmer rival vegetable oils and early export indicators suggesting improving demand at the start of January.
According to Reuters, the benchmark palm oil contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange for March 2026 delivery gained RM41 per ton, or 1%, to RM4,131 per ton during midday trading.
Palm oil price movements also tracked stronger rival oils, as the most-active palm oil contract in Dalian rose 1.62%, while soyoil on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) climbed 0.62%.
Palm oil remains highly competitive with soybean oil and other vegetable oils in the global market, making price movements among key rivals an important driver that often pulls palm oil directionally.
