InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The implementation of ISPO must be firm, consistent, and applied across the entire palm oil supply chain, according to Rismansyah Danasaputra, Director of PT MISB.
Speaking at the ISPO Update FGD, Rismansyah said ISPO should not be reduced to a branding exercise. Companies failing to comply should face real sanctions, including license revocation.
“Certification must be clear from farmers to raw materials. Traceability is non-negotiable,” he stressed.
He also called for gradual increases in the use of certified raw materials and stronger collaboration with downstream sectors, including CPO exporters, to ensure sustainability standards are applied consistently. (T2)
