South Sumatra Palm FFB Prices Peak at Rp3,395 per Kg in Late December 2025

InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) prices in South Sumatra reached their highest level in the second pricing period of December 2025, following an official decision by the provincial pricing team.

Based on data released by the South Sumatra Plantation Agency, oil palm FFB aged 10–20 years were set at Rp3,395.03 per kilogram for the period of 16–31 December 2025.

FFB prices varied according to plantation age. Three-year-old palms were priced at Rp2,869.61/kg, four-year-old palms at Rp2,958.30/kg, and five-year-old palms at Rp3,093.45/kg. Prices continued to rise through productive ages, peaking at Rp3,395.03/kg for palms aged 10–20 years.

Meanwhile, crude palm oil (CPO) prices were set at Rp13,942.46/kg, palm kernel prices at Rp10,412.31/kg, and shell value at Rp17.49/kg, with a K-index of 92.26%.

Authorities emphasized that these prices serve as official references, while actual field transactions may vary depending on mill policies and logistics. (T2)
