InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) rose on Wednesday (23/7/2025), with the benchmark set at IDR 14,666/kg. This marked an increase of IDR 116/kg or 0.80% compared to Tuesday’s price of IDR 14,550/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO Franco Belawan price was set at IDR 14,666/kg. The Dumai Franco price was also opened at IDR 14,666/kg, but the tender was withdrawn (WD), with the highest bid reaching IDR 14,525/kg. The FOB Kembayan price opened at IDR 14,216/kg, but it too was withdrawn, with the highest bid at IDR 13,995/kg.

Meanwhile, Malaysian palm oil futures continued to climb on Wednesday, extending gains from the previous session. The rally was supported by short-covering among traders and firm prices in Dalian palm olein and Chicago soyoil markets.

The benchmark palm oil contract for October delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange (BMD) rose by RM66, or 1.55%, to RM4,330 per metric ton at the midday break. The contract hit an intraday high of RM4,334.

In Dalian, the most active palm oil contract surged 1.59%, while soyoil added 0.3%. On the Chicago Board of Trade, soyoil prices increased by 0.79%, further bolstering bullish sentiment in the global vegetable oil market.
