InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp13,125/kg on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, reflecting a decrease of 1.52% or a drop of approximately Rp203/kg compared to the CPO price on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, which was Rp13,328/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the price of CPO Franco Belawan & Dumai was set at Rp13,125/kg, while CPO Franco Teluk Bayur was priced at Rp13,015/kg, and CPO Loco Sei Tapung at Rp12,906/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, the price of crude palm oil (CPO) in the Malaysian market also recorded a decline on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, marking the second consecutive session of weakening and closing at its lowest level in over two weeks. Price pressures arose due to the weakening of competing vegetable oil prices and an increase in stock levels at the end of May.

The benchmark CPO contract for August 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange fell RM25 per ton, or approximately 0.65%, to RM3,839 per metric ton (around US$906.49) at the close of trading. This represents the lowest closing level since May 26.

Data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) indicated that Malaysia's palm oil stocks surged to their highest level in eight months at the end of May, driven by a spike in production and imports that outpaced exports, although export volumes also reached their highest level in six months.

Additionally, cargo surveys estimated that Malaysia's palm oil exports during the period of June 1-10 increased between 8.1% and 26.4% compared to the same period last month. However, this early-month export increase was not sufficient to counterbalance the abundant supply pressures.
