CPO Prices at KPBN Inacom Remain Stable on June 3, While Malaysian CPO Prices Strengthen

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp 13,385/kg on Wednesday (June 4, 2025), reflecting a slight decrease of 0.01% or a drop of approximately Rp 1/kg compared to the CPO price on Tuesday (June 3, 2025), which was Rp 13,386/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the price of CPO Franco Belawan & Dumai is set at Rp 13,385/kg. The price of CPO Franco Teluk Bayur opened at Rp 13,255/kg, while the FOB price of CPO in Talang Duku is set at Rp 13,185/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, the price of crude palm oil (CPO) on the Malaysian Exchange rebounded and closed higher on Wednesday (June 4, 2025), after previously being pressured by concerns over a third consecutive month of rising stocks in May.

The benchmark contract price for crude palm oil (CPO) for August 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange rose RM16 per ton or approximately 0.41%, closing at RM3,950 (equivalent to US$930.73) per metric ton.

India, as one of the world's major palm oil importers, has significantly increased its purchases in May. Indian palm oil imports reached a six-month high, driven by dwindling domestic stocks and lower prices compared to competing vegetable oils such as soybean and sunflower oil.

In other futures markets, the most active soybean contract price in Dalian recorded a slight increase of 0.13%, while the palm oil contract price on the same exchange weakened by 0.73%. At the Chicago Board of Trade, soybean prices rose by 0.51%.
