InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from plasma palm oil plantations in Riau has declined by Rp23.60 per kilogram for the period of May 28–June 3, 2025, according to the official FFB pricing letter No. 17 issued by the Riau Provincial Plantation Office.
The price for 9-year-old palm oil trees is set at Rp3,363.58/kg.
Based on data obtained by InfoSAWIT from the Riau Provincial Plantation Office, here are the latest plasma FFB prices by tree age:
3 years: Rp2,596.96/kg
4 years: Rp2,940.07/kg
5 years: Rp3,114.73/kg
6 years: Rp3,249.74/kg
7 years: Rp3,320.09/kg
8 years: Rp3,359.23/kg
9 years: Rp3,363.58/kg
10–20 years: Rp3,346.01/kg
21 years: Rp3,294.07/kg
22 years: Rp3,244.43/kg
23 years: Rp3,191.25/kg
24 years: Rp3,133.05/kg
25 years: Rp3,067.50/kg
The government also set the crude palm oil (CPO) reference price at Rp13,290.98/kg and the palm kernel price at Rp12,369.06/kg, while the palm shell value is Rp18.62/kg. The price determination was based on a K index of 93.05%. (T2)
