InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for independent smallholder partners in Indonesia's Riau Province have been set at Rp3,679.40 per kilogram for nine-year-old oil palm trees for the October 21–27, 2026, trading period. This is the highest price among the plantation age categories in the latest provincial pricing decision.

The determination, recorded under Decision No. 39/TPH TBS-X/2026, was agreed upon by the Riau Provincial Oil Palm FFB Pricing Team at a meeting on Tuesday, October 20. The new prices apply for one week, from Wednesday, October 21, through Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

According to the official pricing record obtained by InfoSAWIT, the weighted-average crude palm oil (CPO) price for sales during October 12–18 stood at Rp14,836.06/kg. The weighted-average palm kernel price was Rp13,103/kg.

The K Index, a key component in calculating smallholder FFB prices, was set at 93.76%, while the shell value was recorded at Rp21.49/kg.

4 years: Rp3,176.13/kg

5 years: Rp3,410.07/kg

6 years: Rp3,541.98/kg

9 years: Rp3,679.40/kg

10–20 years: Rp3,640.55/kg

21 years: Rp3,578.69/kg

The pricing mechanism follows Indonesian Agriculture Minister Regulation No. 13/2024 on the purchase of FFB produced by partnered smallholders. The calculation also incorporates the shell value in accordance with Riau Governor Regulation No. 77/2020.

The provincial pricing decision serves as a reference for transactions involving FFB produced by independent smallholder partners in Riau. Actual farm-gate prices may vary depending on fruit quality, mill or company purchasing arrangements, transportation costs, and individual transaction conditions. (T2)
