North Sumatra Raises Fresh Fruit Bunch Prices by Rp100.74 per Kilogram for July 1–7, 2026

InfoSAWIT, MEDAN – The North Sumatra Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Committee has increased the provincial reference price for 10–20-year-old oil palm plantations by Rp100.74 per kilogram for the period of July 1–7, 2026, bringing the benchmark price to Rp3,881.83/kg.

Based on information compiled by InfoSAWIT from the North Sumatra Plantation and Livestock Agency, the revised FFB prices vary according to the age profile of oil palm trees.

The official pricing for the latest period is as follows:

3 years: Rp 3,267.21

4 years: Rp 3,483.37

5 years: Rp 3,604.55

6 years: Rp 3,711.59

7 years: Rp 3,686.86

8 years: Rp 3,814.00

9 years: Rp 3,850.21

10–20 years: Rp 3,881.83

21 years: Rp 3,885.73

22 years: Rp 3,848.86

23 years: Rp 3,795.32

24 years: Rp 3,677.76

25 years: Rp 3,569.15

26 years: Rp 3,540.29

27 years: Rp 3,487.63

28 years: Rp 3,432.08

29 years: Rp 3,374.88

30 years: Rp 3,317.68

The committee also set the provincial reference prices for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at Rp15,427.33/kg and palm kernel at Rp13,334.13/kg, while the K Index—used to determine revenue distribution between mills and growers—was established at 93.76 percent.

The weekly FFB pricing mechanism serves as a benchmark for transactions between palm oil mills and plasma smallholders across North Sumatra. Prices are determined by considering movements in CPO and palm kernel prices, as well as the applicable K Index. (T2)
