Jambi Fresh Fruit Bunch Prices Rise by Rp78.63/kg for July 3–9 Period

InfoSAWIT, JAMBI – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm in Indonesia's Jambi Province moved higher for the July 3–9, 2026 pricing period, supported by the provincial pricing committee's latest assessment.

According to pricing data released by the Jambi Provincial Plantation Office and compiled by InfoSAWIT, the benchmark price for 10–20-year-old oil palm trees increased by Rp78.63 per kilogram to Rp3,708.55/kg for the current period.

Prices across other age categories were also established, with three-year-old palms valued at Rp2,952.49/kg, four-year-old palms at Rp3,156.88/kg, five-year-old palms at Rp3,301.78/kg, six-year-old palms at Rp3,439.47/kg, seven-year-old palms at Rp3,526.20/kg, and eight-year-old palms at Rp3,601.58/kg.

Meanwhile, FFB harvested from nine-year-old palms was priced at Rp3,672.24/kg. Palms aged 21–24 years were set at Rp3,674.42/kg, while plantations aged 25 years received Rp3,508.01/kg.

The provincial committee also set the reference crude palm oil (CPO) price at Rp15,248.55/kg, while palm kernel was valued at Rp12,614.39/kg. The K Index, a key component used in calculating FFB prices, was established at 94.64%.

The Jambi pricing mechanism serves as an official reference for transactions between palm oil mills and smallholders across the province. However, actual prices received by growers may vary depending on local market conditions and commercial agreements. (T2)
