BANDA ACEH, InfoSAWIT – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for partnered oil palm smallholders in Indonesia's Aceh Province have been officially set for the July 1–14, 2026 pricing period, with the highest price reaching Rp3,622 per kilogram for mature palms aged 10–20 years in the province's eastern region.
According to the Aceh Provincial Agriculture and Plantation Office, the prices were determined by the provincial FFB Pricing Team and will remain in effect for two weeks.
The latest pricing formula is based on a Crude Palm Oil (CPO) reference price of Rp15,293.32/kg and a palm kernel reference price of Rp12,693.51/kg. The K Index, which reflects revenue-sharing between growers and mills, was set at 90.56% for Eastern Aceh and 88.33% for Western Aceh.
For plasma smallholders in Eastern Aceh, FFB prices range from Rp2,716/kg for three-year-old palms to Rp3,622/kg for palms aged between 10 and 20 years before gradually declining for older trees.
Meanwhile, plasma growers in Western Aceh received a maximum price of Rp3,533/kg for palms in the same age category, with younger and older plantations priced according to their productivity profile.
The provincial pricing committee also announced FFB prices for independent partner smallholders, calculated according to the proportion of Tenera and Dura fruit varieties delivered.
In Eastern Aceh, independent growers supplying 100% Tenera fruit will receive Rp3,319/kg, while in Western Aceh the corresponding price stands at Rp3,237/kg. Prices decrease progressively as the proportion of Dura fruit increases.
The newly announced prices will serve as the official reference for transactions between palm oil mills and partnered growers across Aceh during the first half of July. The next provincial pricing meeting is scheduled for July 15, when authorities will determine FFB prices for the subsequent period. (T2)
