West Sumatra Fresh Fruit Bunch Prices Rise by Rp56.33/kg in Early July 2026

InfoSAWIT, PADANG – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for independent oil palm growers in West Sumatra increased during the first pricing period of July 2026, reflecting stronger returns for growers across the province.

Based on the decision of the West Sumatra Provincial FFB Pricing Committee for the period of July 1–7, 2026, the benchmark price for oil palm trees aged 10–20 years rose by Rp56.33 per kilogram to Rp3,810.92/kg.

According to data obtained by InfoSAWIT from the West Sumatra Plantation, Food Crops and Horticulture Office, FFB prices by tree age were set as follows:

3 years: Rp2,997.22/kg

4 years: Rp3,166.27/kg

5 years: Rp3,353.64/kg

6 years: Rp3,462.38/kg

7 years: Rp3,595.21/kg

8 years: Rp3,727.52/kg

9 years: Rp3,801.00/kg

10–20 years: Rp3,810.92/kg

21 years: Rp3,666.52/kg

22 years: Rp3,659.95/kg

23 years: Rp3,603.96/kg

24 years: Rp3,435.02/kg

25 years: Rp3,395.08/kg

The committee also established the reference prices for supporting commodities, setting crude palm oil (CPO) at Rp15,241.22/kg, palm kernel at Rp12,739.20/kg, and palm shell at Rp17.25/kg, with the K index maintained at 92.60%.

The pricing serves as the official provincial benchmark for transactions between growers and palm oil mills, although actual purchase prices may vary depending on local market conditions and agreements between sellers and buyers. (T2)
