InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti conducted a working visit to the facilities of PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk (PT SMART Tbk) in Marunda, North Jakarta, on Monday (January 26).
The visit followed her recent trip to Pakistan, including Indonesia’s participation in The 8th Pakistan Edible Oil Conference 2026, which opened dialogue with local industry stakeholders on vegetable oil trade opportunities.
Roro emphasized the importance of understanding palm oil industry business processes, sustainability implementation, traceability systems, certification, and production standards to meet export market requirements—particularly Pakistan.
She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving palm oil export governance through simplified procedures, strengthened traceability systems, and the promotion of sustainable business practices across the supply chain. (T2)
