InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – By the late of 2023, PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk. (ANJ) once again showed its commitment and superiority in environment cultivation and management by getting two Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan (PROPER) Awards in Emas category for its two subsidiaries. It is the highest award from Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

The two subsidiaries of ANJ are PT Sahabat Mewah dan Makmur (SMM) and PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Agri (ANJA). The companies got the prestigious awards from Vice President of Indonesian Republic, Ma’ruf Amin on 20 December 2023. It was the fourth awards for SMM and the third ones for ANJA in a row.

Not only in environment management and cultivation, ANJ also positively contributes to the people’s welfare by conducting social innovations. The programs that focused on creating kinds of work, poverty alleviation, escalating gender equity, and sustainable food system, got the acknowledgement in the 2023 PROPER assessment for SMM and ANJA.

Director of ANJ, Lucas Kurniawan also got The Main Green Leadership Award from Ministry of Environment and Forestry. The award was given for the company successfully implement its policies and environment programs sustainably. The theme of Green Leadership in this year was "Extraordinary Turnaround," that proposed five leaps to maintain man and earth conservation.

ANJ is the first palm oil industry that got PROPER Emas in 2021. The achievement is always maintained to reflect that the company consistently maintains the quality of environment management and implements development programs for the people sustainably.

“By having PROPER Award, ANJ Group got measured assessment objectively and credibly in environment cultivation and social innovations.
