InfoSAWIT, BOGOR - Head of Service Program Division Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA), Arfie Thahar said that in 2023 PFMA would double the numbers to get palm oil plantation human resource (HR) development.
That is why to realize the target, the selection particularly in education (scholarship) would be earlier to do. The proposal from educational and training institutions should be handed over to the committee at least on 28 February 2023. The plan is that in March 2023 the names of education and training institution would be got and the selection process of the students in 2023 would be earlier that General Directorate of Plantation Ministry of Agriculture would select.
What InfoSAWIT got from PFMA, in 2022 PFMA cooperated with some education institutions, such as, Institut Teknologi Sawit Indonesia, Politeknik Kampar, Politeknik Sawit Citra Widya Edukasi, Institut Teknologi Sain Bandung, Politeknik LPP, Akademi Komunitas Perkebunan Yogyakarta, and Institut Teknologi Stiper.
PFMA did cooperate with training institutions, such as, PT. LPP Agro Nusantara, Akademi Komunitas Perkebunan Yogyakarta, IPB Training, PT. Sumberdaya Indonesia Berjaya, PT. Best Planter Indonesia, Pusat Pelatihan Manajemen dan Kepemimpinan Pertanian Ciawi, and Balai Pelatihan Pertanian Jambi.
“By the 2023 target and the socialization, it is hoped to get more educational and training institutions to involve,” Arfie said.
Secretariat Chairman of Plantation HR Development, General Directorate of Plantation, Eva Lizarmi told from last years – experience, General Directorate of Plantation keeps improving the selection mechanism and process in online and offline.
“To deliver much and vast information, we would socialize the programs to many regions namely where palm oil plantations develop in Indonesia,” Eva said. (T2)
