InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – It is admitted or not, palm oil plantations are identical with those who are powerful, work in hot days, and can carry heavy fresh fruit bunch (FFB). These attach to male. But the facts showed that the workers in palm oil plantations are also female.
Some companies even deliver chances for female to develop her careers. Some of them even have the same positions just like the male have.
This showed that female can be working side by side with male in palm oil plantation companies, for instance, Senior Estate Manager PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk (Indonesia), Lilis Suryani and Estate Manager Sime Darby Plantation Berhad (Malaysia), Siti Zuwairiah Binti Abdullah. The both have broken unusual limits in palm oil plantations.
How do they get the position? What would they tell to be in the top management?
