JAKARTA – According to Draft of Directorate General of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, 2014, from the total budget which reaches Rp 1,5 billions, Directorate General Plantation just allocated 80 hectares to develop palm oil and the funds reached Rp 714,3 millions or about 0,045% of the total budget. General Director of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, Gamal Nasir said that it is the decision in his institution. Gamal thought that to develop palm oil, the funds is not from the ministry only for it can be done by credit programs, such as, Vegetable Energy Development Credit – Plantation Revitalization which has been running since 2006. “The credit reaches 6%,” he recently said to InfoSAWIT in Jakarta.
