JAKARTA – National palm oil industries develop as fast as the vegetable natural oil which runs the agribusiness practices. The stronger national industries to increase sustainable practices made PT SMART Tbk together with CIRAD and WWF Indonesia do International Conference of Pam oil Environment (ICOPE) the 4th. In its press release, the conference was held from 1st – 14th February 2014 in The Stones Hotel, Legian, Bali. “This year as the three last conferences, we invited all members to use platforms to develop sustainable palm oil,” Chairman Steering CommitteeICOPE 014 DaudDharsono recently told InfoSAWIT. Meanwhile, the committe said the conference is to make special attention to the environment by sharing strategies, experiences, and finding solution and resources among the stakeholders. Beside that ICOPE also wants to show that many industries have cultivated palm oil as the sustainable model in the future so it is usefull for the environment and the palm oil industries themselves.
