INFO SAWIT, JAKARTA – The draught where the ASEAN happens, Indonesia effects the palm oil fruit productions in some companies, namely, PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (Lonsum).

The palm oil company noted, in the first six months of 2015 (1H2015) the company produced 616.509 tons. The numbers were decreasing 5,3% to the same period in 2014, reaching 651.097 tons.

In the recent official statement of Investor Relations Lonsum, the decreasing main fruit production in the first quarter (1Q 2015) happened for the draught in the 1Q2014.

But the processed fruit of the company increased 2,7% from 914.298 tonsin 1H2014 to be 939.123 tonsin 1H2015. So it effects to the increasing crude palm oil (CPO) production, about 2,5% to be 217.475 tonsfrom 212.101 in the same period.

But the palm kernel production reached 54.246 tonsor increased 5,3% to the previous period reaching 51.536 tons. (T3)
