TLDN's Net Profit Soars 108% in the First Half of 2025, Supported by Rising Prices and Sales Volume of CPO

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN) recorded outstanding performance throughout the first half of 2025. The company achieved a net profit of IDR 561.28 billion, growing 108.6% compared to the same period last year. This profit surge was driven by a significant increase in sales volume and average selling prices of key products such as crude palm oil (CPO), crude palm kernel oil (CPKO), and palm kernel (PK).

Other financial performances also showed positive growth. TLDN recorded earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of IDR 885.15 billion, up 70% year-on-year (yoy). Total revenue reached IDR 2.55 trillion, growing 36.7% compared to IDR 1.87 trillion in the same period last year.

The largest contribution still came from CPO sales, which contributed IDR 2.22 trillion, followed by PK at IDR 197.30 billion, CPKO at IDR 124.03 billion, and other products at IDR 6.32 billion.

Specifically, CPO sales grew 28.2% yoy, driven by a 4.3% increase in volume and a 22.9% increase in average selling price. The sales volume of CPKO skyrocketed to 5,015 tons, up 897.8% year-on-year with an average selling price of IDR 24,735 per kg, an increase of 67.5% yoy. Meanwhile, the average selling price of PK was recorded at IDR 11,199 per kg, significantly growing 105% compared to last year.

TLDN's President Director, Wishnu Wardhana, is optimistic that this positive trend will continue until the end of the year. “The net profit performance until June 2025 already reflects 68% of the total net profit for the entire year of 2024. With CPO prices still rising at the beginning of the second semester this year, we are confident that growth will continue,” he stated in an official statement received by InfoSAWIT on Thursday (July 31, 2025).

From an operational perspective, TLDN also showed progress. The total fresh fruit bunches (TBS) processed reached 701,349 tons, an increase of 5% from 668,251 tons in the first semester of last year. This increase came from higher production in core plantations, plasma plantations, and increased supply from third parties.

“This increase is the result of consistently applying best practices across all lines of our plantations, from fertilization, infrastructure maintenance, to utilizing technology for operational efficiency,” added Wishnu.

With strong achievements in the first semester, sustainable operational strategies, and a commitment to strengthening environmental governance, TLDN asserts its position as a key player in the national palm oil industry ready to achieve sustainable growth throughout 2025. (T2)
