InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — Indonesia’s crude palm oil (CPO) price set by PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN Inacom) increased on Friday, October 23, 2026, supported by firmer palm oil futures in Malaysia and gains in competing vegetable oil markets.
KPBN set its highest CPO tender price at IDR 15,200 per kilogram, up IDR 82/kg, or 0.54%, from IDR 15,118/kg recorded on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai price was set at IDR 15,200/kg. Meanwhile, FOB Talang Duku was priced at IDR 14,950/kg, while Loco PKS Ngabang reached IDR 14,825/kg. Loco PKS Kembayan was set at IDR 14,700/kg. Prices exclude value-added tax (VAT).
Meanwhile, Malaysian palm oil futures closed higher on Friday, extending their winning streak to a third consecutive week as gains in Dalian soyoil and stronger crude oil prices supported market sentiment.
According to Reuters, as published online by InfoSAWIT, the benchmark January palm oil contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM25, or 0.52%, to RM4,817 per metric ton at the close, equivalent to US$1,179.77. The contract gained 1.01% over the week.
In China, the most actively traded soyoil contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange advanced 2.04%, while the exchange’s palm oil contract declined 0.19%. Chicago Board of Trade soyoil futures slipped 0.07%.
Movements in competing vegetable oils remain an important influence on palm oil prices, as the commodities compete for market share in the global edible oils industry.
The latest gains in Malaysian futures, alongside the increase in Indonesia’s KPBN tender price, highlight continued price movements across the regional palm oil market as traders assess competing oils and broader energy market developments. (T2)
