InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,625/kg on Tuesday (9/9/2025). This represents a rise of Rp98/Kg, or about 0.67%, compared to the highest bid of Rp14,527/Kg recorded on Monday (9/8/2025).
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Dumai was set at Rp14,625/Kg, while the Franco Teluk Bayur price was Rp14,495/Kg.
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that palm oil futures on the Malaysian exchange saw a slight gain during Tuesday's trading, mirroring the flat movement of other vegetable oils in Dalian and Chicago. Market participants are still awaiting clearer direction from stock and demand data expected to be released by authorities soon.
The benchmark palm oil futures contract for November 2025 delivery rose by RM1 per ton, a 0.02% increase, to RM4,489 (US$1,067.28) per metric ton at the midday break.
According to a Reuters survey, Malaysian palm oil stocks are projected to rise again in August for the sixth consecutive month. This increase is being driven by production that continues to outpace exports, despite signs of a recovery in demand.
In other markets, the most active soyoil contract in Dalian saw a slight increase of just 0.05%, while its palm oil contract gained 0.53%. In contrast, soyoil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) weakened by 0.08%.
