InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,350/kg on Wednesday (July 16, 2025), marking an increase of approximately Rp100/kg or 0.70% compared to the CPO price on Tuesday (July 15, 2025), which was Rp14,250/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO prices for Franco Belawan & Dumai were established at Rp14,350/kg, while the FOB Talang Duku price was set at Rp14,150/kg.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that the price of crude palm oil (CPO) on the Malaysian Exchange saw a rebound on Wednesday (July 16) after experiencing a decline in the previous session. This increase was driven by rising soybean oil prices on the Chicago Exchange, stronger global crude oil prices, and a weakening ringgit that enhanced the competitiveness of Malaysian CPO exports.

The benchmark CPO contract for October 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange rose by RM45 per ton, or approximately 1.08%, reaching RM4,208 per metric ton (equivalent to US$990.58) during the midday break.

Additionally, soybean oil prices on the CBOT were observed to strengthen by 0.77%, continuing the upward trend that began earlier in the week. On the Dalian Exchange, the most actively traded soybean oil contracts also recorded a 0.4% increase. However, the CPO contract prices on the same exchange experienced a slight correction of 0.07%.

This combination of positive global sentiment has further enhanced the appeal of Malaysian CPO, particularly amid the weakening ringgit, which makes export prices more competitive in the international market.
