InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) experienced a withdrawal (WD) with the highest CPO offer at IDR 14,022/kg on Wednesday (July 9, 2025), marking an increase of approximately IDR 47/kg or 0.34% compared to the CPO price on Tuesday (July 8, 2025), which reached IDR 13,975/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan & Dumai opened at IDR 14,100/kg, but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest offer price at IDR 14,022/kg. The FOB price for Talang Duku was set at IDR 13,900/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, the price of crude palm oil (CPO) on Bursa Malaysia continued to strengthen for the third consecutive day on Wednesday (July 9, 2025), reaching its highest position in nearly three months. This strengthening is supported by rising prices of competing vegetable oils on the Dalian Exchange and a weakening ringgit, although pressure from soybean oil prices in Chicago limited the pace of the increase.

The CPO futures contract for September 2025 (code FCPOc3) closed up 0.27 percent at RM 4,159 per ton, equivalent to approximately USD 979.05 per ton.

On the Dalian Exchange, the most actively traded soyoil contract (DBYU5) rose by 0.15 percent, while the palm oil contract (DCPU5) surged higher by 1.45 percent. Conversely, soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (BOc2) weakened by 0.74 percent, restraining further potential spikes in the Malaysian CPO market.
