InfoSAWIT, BEKASI – Chairman of Yayasan Citra Widya Edukasi, General Major of Army (Ret.) E.D. Bimo Prakoso said in the graduation day of Politeknik Kelapa Sawit Citra Widya Edukasi (Poltek Kelapa Sawit CWE), Saturday (5/10/2024) that it would be significant to work hard, get collaboration, respect their parents as the foundation to the future success.
“This is your big chance to educate everyone of you. I really thank the directors and other officials that worked hard and many of you would work before you graduate your study,” Bimo said in the graduation day InfoSAWIT attended, Sunday (6/10/2024).
He also mentioned that the graduates would get more chance by for CWE got cooperation with many plantation companies. The graduates were prepared to get the good positions, such as, plantation foreman. Bimo thought this would be vital position to succeed the plantation operation. “A foreman would manage many, such as, group commandant in a battle,” he said.
Not only that, he said that it would be significant to increase human resource quality by having practices sustainably. He thought in this very short, some lecturers from Poltek Kelapa Sawit CWE would get training in Solo, Central Java Province to reinforce their academic competency. “This would be part to increase the lecturers’ educational quality and capability,” he said.
Bimo also reminded the graduates should always respect and love their parents. Without their supports, he continued, nowadays success would not happen. “Never forget your parents. They struggled for your education. Be thankful and respect them,” Bimo firmly advised.
He also mentioned to always get cooperation in team and should not be proud of someone’s capability. “When you are at work, you have to help one to another. Never underestimate your college that may not be as qualified as you are. Lay hand on them to go forward together,” he said.
Besides, Bimo warned the graduates to stay away from drugs and online gambling that happened to the young generations. “Once you use drugs, it is over. Never try it. Get away from online gambling. It would damage your future,” he said.
He thought, it would be significant to be thankful for every step in your life. “We have to be always thankful even though you do not reach your target yet. Whatever you get today, be thankful and keep on trying. Never forget to pray because every effort you do would be useless without praying,” he said.
The graduation day would be a meaningful event for the graduates and their parents. This year, Poltek Kelapa Sawit CWE graduated 152 students from many study programs, they were 37 from Diploma IV of Plantation Plant Production Technology; 42 from Diploma III of Palm Oil Plantation Cultivation; 38 from Diploma of Plantation Product Process. 35 from Management Logistic. 46 of them graduated with Cum Laude.
