InfoSAWIT, KONAWE UTARA – Many planters keep doing multi-party cooperation, such as, multi-dialogue on Tuesday, (5/3/2024) in Regency of Konawe Utara, Southeas.Sulawesi Province.

It was attended by many smallholders, head of villages, officials from the regency, central government, palm oil plantation companies, and non-government organizations. It was important to develop sustainable palm oil in the regional action plans – sustainable palm oil or rencana aksi daerah kelapa sawit berkelanjutan (RAD - KSB).

As the follow up from rencana aksi nasional kelapa sawit berkelanjutan (RAN-KSB), RAD – KSB should be conducted as the sustainable palm oil implementation.

Director in duty of Regional Government Synchronization General Directorate of Regional Development Development Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gunawan Eko Movianto said that sustainable regional development is needed as the followup of national action plans.

"Rencana aksi nasional should be conducted through multi - party action in many regions, such as in the Regency of Konawe Utara," Gunawan said in his speech.

Besdes, Regent of Konawe Utara, Ruksamin said there were actions in the regions. The needs of sustainable palm oil development should be parts of the work of the country to welfare its people.

“Regency of Konawe Utara initiated palm oil development to harmonize with its sustainable development,” he said.

The policies in RAD-KSB would be the same ways to get sustainable palm oil progress in Indonesia. (T1)
