Among various insect species, Elaeidobius beetles—including Elaeidobius kamerunicus, E. subvittatus, and E. plagiatus—are the key pollinators.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom decreased slightly on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. KPBN set the CPO price at IDR 15,738/kg, marking a 0.32% dip or a decrease of IDR 50/kg from Monday’s price of IDR 15,788/kg.

This adjustment, as per Price Decree No. 42 for the period of November 13-19, 2024, marks the highest price recorded for independent palm oil FFB in the region.

This adjustment, based on Price Decree No. 42 for the period of November 13-19, 2024, reflects the rising market conditions in the region.

InfoSAWIT, MUMBAI – India’s palm oil imports surged 59% in October compared to the previous month, reaching 840,000 metric tons, the highest level in three months. This increase came as refiners sought to replenish dwindling stocks following low imports in recent months, combined with heightened demand during the festive season, according to traders' estimates.

Pakistan also imported around 150,000 tons of soybean oil for the October-December 2024 period.
