InfoSAWIT, SINGAPORE – Kencana Agri Limited (Kencana or Group) reported its financial performance that ended by 30 June 2024. Even though the income got decreased 12% to the same period last year, some significant factors had something to do with the performance of the group.

Unfortunately, the average palm oil plantation productivity just reached 3,8 tons per hectare nationally, much less than the ideal one that reached 6,5 tons per hectare. Caltiva reinforced the smallholders’ capacity in the Regency of Aceh Singkil to get Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certificate. It was on Tuesday (22/10/2024) to deliver deeper understanding about sustainable palm oil plantation cultivation and international scale for the smallholders.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - Ahmad Kailani, Chairman of Perisai Prabowo said it would be significant to monitor and evaluate biodiesel program, namely about the numbers of the mixture to be 50 percent (B50). It would run with the smallholders’ interests. He also emphasized that it would be significant to actively get the smallholders involved in biodiesel industries and their roles should not be put aside.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - Palm oil biodiesel program that the Government of Indonesia proposed, would be one of strategic solutions to realize energy sovereignty and reduce fossil fuel dependence. But to realize the vision, it needs to prioritize the smallholders to get involved. As the important actors in palm oil supply chain, they played significant roles and should not be put aside.
