JAKARTA – To slow down the worse climate change caused by illegal logging, flame and other things, government of Myanmar started to join REDD+ programme.
Ministry of Conservation and Forestry U Win Tun said it in the opening ceremony of Forest Asia Summit 2014 conference, which InfoSAWIT also attend, Monday (5/5/2014). “To reduce deforestation, emission, we join REDD +,” he said.
He continued, green development and economy were the important things in sustainability. (T3)
