InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for independent smallholders in Riau Province increased for the October 28–November 3, 2026, pricing period. The price for nine-year-old oil palm trees was set at Rp3,739.83 per kilogram, up Rp60.43 per kilogram from the previous period.

The new pricing is stipulated under Riau Province FFB Pricing Decision No. 40/TPH TBS-X/2026, covering the one-week period from Wednesday, October 28, through Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The decision followed a meeting of the provincial FFB pricing team held on Tuesday, October 27.

According to the pricing report obtained by InfoSAWIT, the weighted average crude palm oil (CPO) price for sales during October 19–25, 2026, stood at Rp15,088.47 per kilogram. The weighted average palm kernel price reached Rp13,289.80 per kilogram.

The K Index, a key component in calculating smallholder FFB prices, was set at 93.76%, while the shell value was recorded at Rp21.49 per kilogram. These components are used to determine prices according to the age of the oil palm trees.

The pricing follows Indonesian Agriculture Minister Regulation No. 13/2024 on the purchase of FFB produced by partner smallholders. It also incorporates the shell value in accordance with Riau Governor Regulation No. 77/2020.

The provincial pricing serves as a reference for transactions involving independent smallholders operating under partnership arrangements in Riau. Actual farmgate prices may vary depending on fruit quality, mill requirements, transportation costs, and individual trading conditions. (T2)
