KPBN CPO Prices Ease Slightly as Bursa Malaysia Futures Remain Under Pressure

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) slipped marginally to Rp14,401 per kg on Monday (January 12, 2026), down Rp10 per kg from last Friday.

According to Reuters, Malaysian palm oil futures remain under pressure due to higher-than-expected production and rising inventories. Benchmark March contracts on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed at 4,043 ringgit per ton.

Industry analyst Dorab Mistry said weakness may persist until production declines, noting global output rose around 1 million tons above expectations while biofuel demand disappointed, particularly in the United States. (T2)
