InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Indonesia’s crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) ended in withdrawal (WD) on Thursday, November 5, 2026, with the highest bid for CPO at Rp14,548 per kilogram.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai CPO tender opened at Rp14,630/kg before being withdrawn, with the highest bid reaching Rp14,548/kg. The FOB Talang Duku tender opened at Rp14,380/kg, while the highest bid stood at Rp14,239/kg. Meanwhile, Franco Teluk Bayur opened at Rp14,430/kg, with the highest bid at Rp14,160/kg.
The domestic market weakness coincided with a decline in Malaysian palm oil futures. Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Thursday, pressured by weaker soybean oil futures on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).
According to Bernama, the November 2026 CPO contract fell RM174 to RM4,126 per tonne. The December contract declined RM128 to RM4,279 per tonne, while January 2027 dropped RM119 to RM4,377 per tonne.
Other contracts also recorded losses. February 2027 fell RM114 to RM4,462 per tonne, March declined RM111 to RM4,533 per tonne, and April slipped RM109 to RM4,587 per tonne.
Trading activity weakened, with volume falling to 97,181 lots from 137,168 lots on Wednesday. Open interest, however, increased to 336,631 contracts from 334,908 contracts.
Physical CPO for November delivery in Southern Malaysia also declined RM90 to RM4,220 per tonne.
