North Sumatra Palm Oil Prices Decline Ahead of Year-End

InfoSAWIT, MEDAN — Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices in North Sumatra fell during the period of December 17–23, 2025, reflecting softer palm oil market conditions.

The provincial pricing committee set the price for oil palm aged 10–20 years at Rp3,442.37 per kilogram, down Rp13.58 from the previous period. Prices for younger plantations ranged from Rp2,668.10 per kilogram for three-year-old palms to Rp3,357.25 per kilogram for nine-year-old trees.

Crude palm oil prices were set at Rp14,105.26 per kilogram, while palm kernel prices reached Rp11,068.31 per kilogram, with a K-index of 92.84%.

Officials noted that prices at the farm gate may vary depending on local agreements with mills. (T2)
