CPO Prices at KPBN Sluggish on Monday (3/11), CPO Trading at Bursa Malaysia Closes Weak

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) were set at Rp. 13,900/kg on Monday (3/11/2025), thus CPO prices recorded a decline of Rp. 68/kg or about 0.49% compared to the highest CPO bid price on Friday (31/10/2025) which reached Rp. 13,968/kg.

From information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, CPO Franco Dumai prices were set at Rp. 13,900/kg. CPO Talang Duku prices were set at Rp. 13,700/kg. Franco CPO Teluk Bayur prices opened at Rp. 13,770/kg, but experienced Withdraw (WD) with the highest bid price at Rp. 13,582/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, crude palm oil (CPO) prices at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange weakened again on Monday's trading (3/11/2025), driven by weakening prices of competing vegetable oils at the Dalian exchange and increasing production pressuring the market.

The CPO futures contract price for January 2026 delivery fell by RM92 per ton or 2.19%, closing at RM 4,115 per metric ton (approximately US$974.20) at the end of the trading session.

At the Dalian exchange, the most active soybean oil contract (DBYcv1) fell 0.52%, while the palm oil contract weakened 1.55%. Meanwhile, soybean oil prices at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) also fell 0.35%.

Despite the price pressure, export prospects show positive signs. According to AmSpec Agri Malaysia data, Malaysia's palm oil product exports in October rose 4.3% compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, cargo survey agency Intertek Testing Services recorded a 5.2% increase in exports for the same period.

Regionally, data from Indonesia's Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that exports of crude palm oil and its derivatives from Indonesia reached 17.58 million tons in the January–September 2025 period. This volume rose 11.62% compared to the same period last year, reflecting global demand recovery after the decline in 2024.
