KPBN Inacom CPO Price Remains Withdrawn as Malaysian Futures Decline

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was withdrawn (WD) for a second consecutive day on Thursday (21/8/2025). The highest bid price was Rp14,500/kg, a decrease of approximately Rp60/kg (0.41%) from Wednesday's highest bid of Rp14,560/kg.

According to information from KPBN obtained by InfoSAWIT, the CPO price for Franco Belawan opened at Rp14,580/kg but was withdrawn, with the highest bid at Rp14,500/kg. Similarly, the Franco Dumai price opened at Rp14,580/kg before being withdrawn, with the highest bid at Rp14,488/kg.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that palm oil futures on the Malaysian exchange continued their decline for a third straight day on Thursday, despite strong export data for the August 1-20 period. The benchmark CPO contract for November 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell RM18 per ton, or 0.4%, to RM4,480 (US$1,061.61) per ton during the midday trading break.

On the Dalian Commodity Exchange, palm oil futures fell by 0.11%, and the most active soyoil contract lost 0.45%. In contrast, soyoil on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) saw a slight increase of 0.2%.

In terms of market fundamentals, data from the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) showed that Indonesia's palm oil stocks at the end of June fell by 13% month-on-month to 2.53 million tons, even though production had increased, thanks to a surge in exports. Additionally, Malaysian palm oil product exports for August 1-20 rose by 13.6% to 17% compared to the same period last month, according to data from Intertek Testing Services and AmSpec Agri Malaysia.
