Palm Oil Prices in East Kalimantan Rise in Early August 2025

InfoSAWIT, SAMARINDA  – The price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) of palm oil in East Kalimantan has seen a notable increase, as announced by the provincial pricing team. For the first period of August 2025 (August 1-15), the price for palm oil from trees older than 10 years has risen by Rp. 29.11 per kilogram, bringing the new price to Rp. 3,140.12 per kilogram.

The pricing for the second period of August 2025 (August 16-31) is scheduled to be determined on Friday, August 29, 2025, in Samarinda. According to data from the East Kalimantan Plantation Office, the prices for various ages of palm oil are as follows: Rp. 2,765.56/kg for 3-year-old palm oil, Rp. 2,949.62/kg for 4-year-old, Rp. 2,967.18/kg for 5-year-old, Rp. 2,999.08/kg for 6-year-old, Rp. 3,017.17/kg for 7-year-old, and Rp. 3,039.84/kg for 8-year-old.

Additionally, 9-year-old palm oil is priced at Rp. 3,103.66/kg, while those older than 10 years are set at Rp. 3,140.12/kg. The price of crude palm oil (CPO) is established at Rp. 13,835.46/kg, and palm kernel at Rp. 10,468.77/kg, with an index of K at 89.09%.
