InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) saw a withdrawal with the highest offer price at Rp14,397/kg on August 14, 2025, marking a decrease of approximately Rp. 455/Kg or a 3.06% drop compared to the highest offer price of Rp14,852/Kg on August 13, 2025.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan & Dumai opened at Rp. 14,707/Kg but experienced a withdrawal with the highest offer price at Rp. 14,397/kg. The CPO price for FOB Talang Duku opened at Rp. 14,507/Kg but also saw a withdrawal with the highest offer price at Rp. 14,197/kg.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that palm oil futures prices on the Bursa Malaysia closed lower on August 14, 2025, halting a four-session rally amid profit-taking by investors and news that the Indonesian palm oil industry association is lobbying the government to delay the implementation of the mandatory B50 biodiesel blend.

The benchmark palm oil contract for October 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange fell RM 30 per ton or 0.68% to RM 4,405 (US$1,046.32) per ton at the close of trading.

The Indonesian Palm Oil Entrepreneurs Association (GAPKI) is believed to have requested the government to reconsider the 50% biodiesel blend (B50) plan, as it could potentially pressure palm oil exports. However, a government official quoted by Reuters denied receiving such a proposal, while GAPKI stated that they had never submitted a formal written request.

On the Dalian exchange, the most active soyoil contract (DBYcv1) fell 0.47%, while palm oil prices dropped 1.09%. Soyoil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade also recorded a decline of 0.9%.
