InfoSAWIT, ASAHAN — PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk (PT BSP) has once again been recognized for its strong commitment to building harmonious industrial relations. The PT BSP Kisaran plantation officially received the Best Bipartite Cooperation Institution (LKS) Award for 2025 from the Asahan Government through the Manpower Office.
This prestigious award was granted following a rigorous verification and audit process by the Asahan Manpower Office team. PT BSP Kisaran was selected as the best recipient among several other plantation companies operating in the Asahan region of North Sumatra. This achievement reinforces PT BSP Kisaran's outstanding record in employment management. Previously, the company had also won the Paritrana Award and Sidakarya Award in 2024, presented directly by the Governor of North Sumatra at his official residence.
“This award is a tangible proof of the collaborative efforts between management, workers, and unions in creating a conducive and productive work environment,” stated a representative from PT BSP Kisaran management, as quoted on the BSP Facebook page on Thursday (July 24, 2025).
The success of PT BSP Kisaran is attributed to the strong synergy between the company and three major labor unions active within the company: SPSI, SPSI 1973, and SBSI Hukatan. Despite their different backgrounds and identities, the three unions have managed to set aside sectoral egos and establish constructive communication for the common good.
“In every discussion and coordination, we always prioritize the common interest—both for the sustainability of the company and the welfare of all employees. The challenges we face have been overcome due to the spirit of solidarity and kinship that we have built together,” added the company representative.
