CPO Prices at KPBN Inacom Fall on Tuesday (25/11), Malaysian Bursa Still Weak

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp 13,990/kg on Tuesday (25 November 2025). This marks a decrease of Rp 35/kg, or 0.25%, compared with Monday’s (24/11/2025) price of Rp 14,025/kg.

Based on information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Belawan & Dumai CPO price was set at Rp 13,990/kg. The Loco Palembang CPO price opened at Rp 13,840/kg, but the tender resulted in a withdrawal (WD), with the highest bid reaching Rp 13,738/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, CPO prices on the Malaysian derivatives exchange continued to weaken on Tuesday (25/11/2025), extending losses for the fourth consecutive session. The decline was mainly driven by negative sentiment in the Dalian market, while traders monitored the impact of flooding affecting several regions in Malaysia — the world’s second-largest palm oil producer.

The benchmark palm oil contract for February 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell RM 30 per ton, or 0.74%, to RM 4,025 per ton during the midday break. Trading remained in a narrow range as the market tracked the weakness of Dalian’s palm oil contracts.

According to the Malaysian National Disaster Agency, more than 11,000 residents across seven states have been affected by floods triggered by heavy rainfall since early in the week. The situation adds uncertainty to a market that is typically sensitive to production and distribution disruptions.

On the Dalian exchange, the most active soyoil contract slipped 0.24%, while its palm oil contract plunged 1.51%. In contrast, soyoil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade edged up 0.1%.
