InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) eased on Friday (21/11/2025), with the benchmark price set at Rp 14,025 per kg—down Rp 41 or 0.29% from Thursday’s level of Rp 14,066 per kg.
According to KPBN data, Franco Dumai CPO was priced at Rp 14,025 per kg, Franco Teluk Bayur at Rp 13,895 per kg, and FOB Talang Duku at Rp 13,825 per kg.
Meanwhile, CPO futures on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended the week lower, pressured by weak demand and expectations of rising output in the coming weeks.
The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) projected that national CPO production in 2025 would surpass 2024 levels, potentially exceeding 19.5 million tonnes compared to 19.3 million tonnes produced this year. The board also expects higher palm oil exports in 2025, with full-year data to be released in January 2026.
At Friday’s close, the December 2025 contract slid RM62 to RM4,050 per tonne. January 2026 fell RM76 to RM4,063, February 2026 declined RM86 to RM4,069, March 2026 dropped RM92 to RM4,078, April 2026 slipped RM95 to RM4,082, and May 2026 eased RM90 to RM4,084 per tonne.
Trading volume surged to 121,669 lots from 70,608 lots the previous day, while open interest rose to 287,400 contracts from 278,925.
In global vegetable oil markets, Dalian’s most active soybean oil contract fell 1.04%, while its palm oil contract dropped 1.03%. Chicago Board of Trade soybean oil futures slipped 0.51%.
