InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN), a subsidiary of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero), again held a Commodity Market Auction (PLK) for coffee commodities on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. The auction was conducted live (live bidding) through the E-Tender PLK system accessible to the public on the official website https://lelang.kpbn.co.id.
Through this organized market mechanism, KPBN brings together sellers and buyers transparently in a modern and efficient digital system. This auction successfully recorded total transactions of Rp1.34 billion, marking high enthusiasm from business actors towards Indonesian coffee commodities.
“The implementation of PLK auctions is a manifestation of our commitment to creating competitive prices and shortening the distribution chain of commodity trade,” said Andrial Saputra, Head of the Exchange and Business Development Division of PT KPBN to InfoSAWIT, Tuesday (October 21, 2025).
Digital Transformation of Commodity Trade
The Commodity Market Auction (PLK) is designed to strengthen the digital-based trade ecosystem in the agribusiness sector. Through E-Tender PLK, the buying and selling process is conducted online, providing broader access while ensuring price transparency.
This activity receives support from the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti) – Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, and partners with PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (KBI) as a strategic partner in organizing the clearing system and transaction guarantees.
“We strive to present a modern, transparent, and efficient commodity trade ecosystem, while providing added value for national agribusiness actors,” expressed Muhammad Zulham Rambe, SEVP Operation PT KPBN.
To expand reach and participation of business actors, KPBN schedules E-Tender PLK implementation routinely every Tuesday and Thursday from 13.00–15.00 WIB. Information and registration procedures as an official KPBN partner can be accessed through the website https://www.kpbn.co.id/id/partner-with-us.html.
With digital innovation and a transparent auction system, KPBN continues to strengthen its role as a leading national commodity trading center, especially for plantation products such as coffee, tea, and rubber. This initiative is expected to increase Indonesia's export competitiveness while contributing to strengthening the agribusiness-based economy. (T2)
