InfoSAWIT, BEKASI — The Citra Widya Edukasi Palm Oil Polytechnic (Poltek Kelapa Sawit CWE) in Bekasi, West Java, officially held its 2025 New Student Orientation (MPOMB) on Monday (9/8) for its new students.
The event's head organizer, Alisa Hanin Dhiya Putri, stated that the new student admission series began on September 1 with the arrival of students from the Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) scholarship program.
"Previously, on Wednesday (9/3), we conducted the final registration and provided a motivational seminar led by Wahyuka, a Trainer Officer at PT Daya Guna Lestari," she said in information obtained by InfoSAWIT on Monday (9/8/2025).
In addition to the seminar, the students also underwent a data verification process, from academic administration to health checks. This year, Poltek Kelapa Sawit CWE welcomed 355 new students, with about 300 of them being BPDP scholarship recipients.
The new student admission was themed "Superior, Innovative, and Sustainable Young Palm Oil Generation." The theme underscores the campus's commitment to producing young talent capable of contributing to the progress of the national palm oil industry.
"Our hope is that the students can become a superior generation that innovates and drives the sustainability of the palm oil industry, so that they can eventually play a role in realizing Golden Indonesia," Alisa concluded. (T2)
