InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,570/kg on Tuesday (26/8/2025). This marks a decrease of approximately Rp129/kg (0.88%) compared to the price on Monday (25/8/2025), which was Rp14,699/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Dumai was set at Rp14,570/kg. The price for FOB Talang Duku was set at Rp14,370/kg, and the Franco Teluk Bayur price was set at Rp14,440/kg.
Meanwhile, Bernama reported that palm oil futures on the Malaysian exchange closed weaker on Tuesday. The decline was triggered by a drop in soyoil prices and expectations of increased production in the coming weeks. At the close of trading, the spot-month September 2025 contract fell by RM16 to RM4,397 per ton. The October 2025 contract dropped by RM22 to RM4,440 per ton, while the November 2025 contract also corrected by RM22 to RM4,470 per ton.
The December 2025 contract was down RM23 to RM4,489 per ton, January 2026 weakened by RM24 to RM4,492 per ton, and February 2026 corrected by RM20 to RM4,477 per ton. Trading activity increased, with volume rising to 46,894 lots from 43,615 lots the previous day. Meanwhile, open interest also grew to 252,058 contracts compared to 249,263 contracts. The physical CPO price for September South also weakened, falling by RM30 to RM4,410 per ton.
