SIMP Group Records Positive Performance in H1 2025, Profit Rises 43%

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk (SIMP Group) reported encouraging financial results for the first half of 2025. In its interim consolidated financial report for the period ended June 30, 2025, the company showed significant growth in both production and profitability.

From January to June 2025, fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production from its core plantations increased by 2% year-on-year (yoy) to 1.22 million tons. This increase contributed to a 7% yoy rise in the company's crude palm oil (CPO) production, reaching 326 thousand tons, driven by a higher supply of FFB from both core and external plantations.

In terms of sales, SIMP Group recorded a total revenue of Rp9.39 trillion, a sharp increase of 33% compared to the same period last year. This growth was fueled by higher average selling prices for palm oil products, cooking oil, and vegetable fats, coupled with a larger sales volume.

The positive performance was also reflected in its profits. The company's gross profit jumped 42% to Rp2.27 trillion, while operating profit was recorded at Rp1.51 trillion, growing 24% yoy. The profit for the period attributable to the parent entity's owners rose sharply by 43% to Rp755 billion. Furthermore, core profit soared by 91% to Rp1.19 trillion.

Regarding its financial structure, SIMP Group recorded a healthier net gearing ratio of 0.06x as of June 30, 2025, down from 0.11x at the end of December 2024.

SIMP Group President Director, Paulus Moleonoto, stated that this achievement was made amidst ongoing challenges in the agribusiness sector, including commodity price volatility, unpredictable weather conditions, and global uncertainty.

"During the first half of 2025, SIMP Group successfully posted positive performance. We remain committed to cost efficiency, operational optimization, and selective capital investments, while continuously improving productivity and implementing sustainable agricultural practices," said Paulus in an official statement quoted by InfoSAWIT on Thursday (7/8/2025).
