InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Citra Widya Edukasi Palm Oil Polytechnic (CWE) participated in The 3rd Technology and Palm Oil Management Indonesia (TPOMI) event, showcasing information and education related to the palm oil industry in Indonesia.
Yudi Dermawan, the Head of the Palm Oil Processing Technology Study Program at CWE, explained that their participation in this year's TPOMI focuses on the educational contribution, particularly in developing and forming competent human resources in the palm oil sector.
“We are here with the spirit of providing education through an exhibition that highlights the developments in the palm oil industry in Indonesia. Our focus is to produce superior human resources ready to compete and make a tangible contribution to the national palm oil industry,” Yudi stated during the event.
According to Yudi, the palm oil sector plays a strategic role in the national economy. Therefore, enhancing the quality of human resources is key to ensuring that this industry not only supports but also serves as a primary driver and even a “champion” in supporting Indonesia's economic resilience and growth.
“We hope that the Indonesian palm oil industry can become a solid economic force with high competitiveness. Well-trained and educated human resources are the main foundation to achieve this vision,” he added.
CWE's participation in this event is a concrete manifestation of the commitment of this vocational higher education institution to bridge the academic world with the dynamic needs of the palm oil industry, which demands high professionalism. (T2)
