InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) has officially conducted the handover of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises' (BUMN) Decree and PT Danantara Asset Management regarding the appointment and dismissal of the board of directors and members of the board of commissioners. This management refresh is part of the company's broader strategy to strengthen its transformation into a robust and adaptive national agribusiness holding.

The ceremony for the handover of the decree was led by the President Director of PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero), Lieutenant General (Ret.) Agus Sutomo, SE, and the President Commissioner, Lieutenant General (Ret.) R. Wisnoe Prasetja Boedi. During the same occasion, the appointment of the Head of the Riau Regional Office was also announced, marking a management refresh not only at the central level but also down to the operational regional lines.

Management representatives and employees of PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) were present at the event, witnessing this significant leadership transition within the company.

In his remarks, Agus Sutomo expressed his highest appreciation to the officials who have completed their terms, particularly for their contributions in overseeing the transformation of PT Indra Karya into the new entity, PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero).

“The service of these gentlemen is not a simple matter. The contributions, spirit, teamwork, and harmony that we have built together will remain in our hearts. You have helped pioneer, give birth to, and nurture Agrinas Palma,” he stated, as quoted by InfoSAWIT from Agrinas' official website on Thursday (July 3, 2025).

Several individuals were recognized for their service, including Major General (Ret.) Dr. Bachtiar Utomo and Professor Dr. Edi Slamet Irianto. Meanwhile, Major General (Ret.) Cucu Somantri, who previously served as the Director of Plantations, has been assigned to a new position as the Director of Law and Compliance.

According to Agus, this management refresh is part of ongoing internal consolidation following the company's transformation. Agrinas Palma now plays a strategic role in accelerating the development of the national plantation and food industry, managing state assets across various regions, and creating a direct impact on community welfare.

At the regional level, the refresh is also deemed essential for expediting the implementation of work programs and achieving set targets. The new regional heads are expected to bring fresh enthusiasm, strengthen inter-unit synergy, and maintain the increasingly dynamic work rhythm of the company.

“With this new formation, we are confident that PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) will move faster, sharper, and more impactful. The synergy between the central and regional levels is key, including transparency in carrying out public mandates,” emphasized Agus Sutomo.

He added that this leadership transition marks a new chapter in the company's journey. A grand mission has been laid out: to realize food sovereignty, strengthen agrarian sector governance, and create added value for the country through a professional and sustainable approach.

Looking ahead, the new management formation is expected to accelerate the realization of medium- and long-term programs, ranging from productivity enhancement, strengthening partnerships with farmers and BUMDes, to optimizing state assets for the benefit of the people. (T2)
