It was running in Hotel Grand Elite, Pekanbaru, Riau Province. It was supported by Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) in the 2023 financial support.

Dead palm oil trees were processed to be wooden board. This would be the new potential to develop sustainable products from (palm oil) wastes.

InfoSAWIT, KUALA LUMPUR — Japanese and Malaysian researchers are having innovative projects to change palm oil (tree) wastes to be biomass that would function as the source of renewable energy. It would take advantages on palm oil rod (tree) after being cut off, change it to be fiber and pellet for fuel, and re-cycling the liquid from the process.

Head of Plantation Agency East Kalimantan Province, Ence Achmad Rafiddin Rizal said that palm oil plantations in the province laid about 1.411.861 hectares (ha). The numbers were divided to be the main plantations that laid on about 972.152 ha and plasma/people/independent smallholders’ plantations that laid about 373.212 ha.

InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – According to Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Team of South Sumatera Province for the first period - May 2024 (1-15 May 2024), decided on Wednesday, 8 May 2024, the 10 – 20 year old FFB is getting cheaper Rp 163,89/kg to be Rp 2.717,98/Kg.
