InfoSAWIT, BANDUNG - PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk., has its vision to make digitalization for the palm oil plantation workers.

InfoSAWIT, BANDA ACEH – Palm oil plantation development in Indonesia has been running for more than one century. Its development for the first time was in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) and North Sumatera.

InfoSAWIT, BANDA ACEH - Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) in cooperation with Universitas Syiah Kuala (Unsyiah) Aceh did public lecture in the Faculty of Agriculure this morning, Thursday (14/2/2019) in the university.

InfoSAWIT, BANDA ACEH – According to Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), the palm oil plantation areas certified by RSPO in Aceh until the end of December 2018 reached about 26.660 hectares (ha) within the Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) reached about 95.234 metric tons.

InfoSAWIT, LONDON – Some main palm oil users (companies) in the world, such as, Nestle, Unilever, and Mondelez are trying the technology of new satellite to trace the deforestation knowing that many pressures to palm oil users  should be free from the deforestation.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - The palm oil plantations are the biggest exchange providers in non-oil and gas sector. According to Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia succeeded to export 27,3 million tons in 2017 reaching about US$ 22,97. The exports increased 26% compared to 2016 that reached US$ 18,22. This automatically increased the exchange too.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA  – In the recent days, there was a publication about the palm oil study done by IUCN. It was responded well by the government. Coordinator Minister in Economy, Darmin Nasution even mentioned that the palm oil plantations have better impacts to the wild life and conservation rather than those from other kinds of plantations because palm oil plantations need narrower areas.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – According to Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) Commission Secretariat, 457 certificates have been published which cover 3.828.238 hectares (ha) or about 27,40% of the total plantations nationally which lay about 14,03 million hectares. The fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production reached 49.042.224 tons/year, the certified crude palm oil (CPO) production reached 11.016.859 tons/year or about 30% of the total CPO production which reached 37,8 million tons per year.

InfoSAWIT, MEDAN - PT Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) I supports the implementation of vegetable oil mixture 20% to diesel fuel or biodiesel 20% (B-20). From January 2019, Terminal BBM (TBBM) Gunung Sitoli has totally distributed B-20 and stop supplying B0. It means that in total, there are 19 TBBM in MOR I that distribute B20.

InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – PT Pertamina Refinery Unit III did First Launching Environmental Fuel or Bahan Bakar Ramah Lingkungan Biosolar (B-20) in the Kilang RU III Plaju on Thursday (24/1). It is the commitment to run the policy of the government based on the Regulation of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resource No. 41 / 2018 to implement the usage of fuel mixture to diesel within fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) about 20% which is produced by Badan Usaha Bahan Bakar Nabati (BU BBN).
