InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk. (ANJ) got achievement again 'Platinum Rank' in Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2023. It was held by National Centre for Corporate Reporting (NCCR) and directly handed over by Chairman of NCCR, Ali Darwin to Nunik Maharani, Director of Sustainability and Corporate Communications ANJ Group, Monday (6/11) in Jakarta.

There was workshop Anak Sawit Berinovasi in Pendopo (Institut Teknologi Sawit Indonesia) ITSI, Medan, Saturday, 11 November 2023. The workshop proposed the theme "Pembuatan Insektisida Nabati dari Daun Paku Resam untuk Menanggulangi Ulat Pemakan Daun Kelapa Sawit (UPDKS)" or Making Botanical Insecticide from Resam Fern Leaves to Prevent Caterpillars that eat palm oil leaves. The main speaker was Reh Desiva Christima Br. Ginting as the winner of AHM BEST Student 2022. She excitedly delivered the materials.

InfoSAWIT, GARUT – To escalate additional value from palm oil derivative products, Partai Demokrat encouraged the villagers of Garut to process palm oil to get more values. Siti Mufattahah, member of Commission IX Indonesian Legislators Partai Demokrat told that it is significant to involve every villager to develop creative ideas to escalate the quality and values from palm oil products.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) and PT PLN (Persero) signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 8 November 2023 to escalate renewable energy powerplant, namely through Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) for mill and through advantaging renewable energy.

InfoSAWIT, NUNUKAN – Kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Bea dan Cukai (KPPBC) Nunukan successfully secured two cars without any ownership documents in palm oil plantation in the border of Indonesia, Sebatik Island, District of Nunukan. The two unknown cars are Toyota Prado EX 3.0 Turbo which was produced in 1991 and Toyota Land Cruiser that was produced in 1999 with Malaysia plates. They were found in palm oil plantations that belong to Sebatik people.

InfoSAWIT, LHOKSEUMAWE – Port of Krueng Geukeuh, North Aceh significantly got progress in export – import activity by successful transporting palm oil shell to City of Hokaido, Japan.

InfoSAWIT, KUALA LUMPUR – According to Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) on Friday (10/11/2023), palm oil stock hit the highest level for the past four years by the late of October 2023. The exports also increased from what were predicted. The supply increased 5,84% from September to be 2,45 million metric tons. The numbers increased for the past six months in a row. The same thing happened in September 2019.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) increased to be Rp 11.280/kg on Friday (10/11/2023). It means it got increased Rp 86/kg or about 0,77% to Thursday (9/11/2023) tender that was Rp 11.194/kg.

InfoSAWIT, SINGAPORE – Crude palm oil (CPO) price contract at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange on Friday (10/11/2023) increased. It happened for the increasing demands from China while the investors still waited for data of demands and supply from Malaysian Palm Oil Board in the first ten days in November 2023.

InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) V, the subsidiary of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara III Persero, successfully got a breakthrough in palm oil industries. The innovation is called Natural Enemies Breeding House (NB House). It successfully keeps palm oil plantations producing good and escalates the productivity efficiently and efficiently.

InfoSAWIT, JAMBI – According to Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Team of Jambi Province on 10 - 16 November 2023, it is decided that the 10 – 20 year old FFB is increasing Rp 23,05/Kg to be Rp 2.394,85/Kg.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) decreased to be Rp 11.194/kg, Thursday (9/11/2023). It means it got cheaper Rp 41/kg or about 0,36% compared to Wednesday (7/11/2023) tender that was Rp 11.235/kg.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - In 2022, the plantations that were certified by RSPO Indonesia developed 4% and got wider 6% since January 2023 to September 2023. The numbers represented more than 2,5 million hectares plantations, including those and belonging to independent smallholders. In 2022, 25 mills got certified based on RSPO principles and criteria. 18 mills got certified in the third quarter of 2023.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - Palm oil really depends on climate to deliver high production. Extreme climate would be significantly delivering palm oil production. That is why it needs to anticipate such condition.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Director of Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) Eddy Abdurrahman said, independent smallholders face many same challenges in their plantation cultivation, such as, supply chain from the plantations to the mills, bad infrastructures, low productivity, lack of knowledge and skills to get good agricultural practices, limited access to the latest technology in agriculture practices, the lack of supports in certification process.

Since it was established in 2004, RSPO took its members to involve including Indonesia as the biggest sustainable palm oil producer in the world.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was in withdraw (WD) with the highest bid Rp 11.235/kg on Wednesday (8/11/2023). It means, it increased Rp 60/kg or about 0,54% compared to Tuesday (7/11/2023) tender which was Rp 11.175/kg.
